Test prep sure is sweet in third grade - today students rotated to different
candy themed stations to prepare for standardized testing next week. They
"kissed" their test jitters goodbye as they wrote their fears and looked at the
different sample test booklets, rulers, and calculators they will be using. (Calculators will be provided to check answers.) Students learned different "move-mints" to stretch their bodies and refocus their brains during the breaks. They learned how to "chews" the correct answer and the importance of checking their work so they are not a "dum-dum." Finally, the students learned how "smarties" remember to be SWEET (stay positive, work hard, examine the questions, eliminate wrong answers, take your time). These kids are ready to rock the test!
