The rough drafts for our class book are looking great! This week, I will be showing the students how to access and edit their pages online. If you have not done so already, please make sure you click on the link that was emailed to you and give your permission for your child to participate.
Our next section's topic is wolves. We began with a nonfiction article read-aloud. The article was about a man who takes pictures of wolves. You might be surprised to learn that wolves are actually shy around human - they would rather run away than attack.
The vocabulary words for this unit are passion, admire, concentrate, splendid, bothering, dangerous, and ached. Our dictionary skill is multiple meaning words (such as concentrate). For phonics, we will be discussing the /ch/ sound. |
